WinClub Fantasy Cricket — scoring rules
This page is read-only. Rules are shown so every user can understand how fantasy points are calculated. A player's points are calculated from recorded match statistics and deliveries. Captain/vice-captain multipliers are applied to the player's final points when calculating the fantasy team's total.

1. Batting points

Points awarded to a batter for runs and batting milestones.

ActionPointsHow it works
Each run scored+1 per runRuns credited to the batter.
Each four hit+1 extraAdded on top of the four runs.
Each six hit+2 extraAdded on top of the six runs.
Half-century (50–99)+8 milestoneAwarded once when the batter finishes on 50 to 99 runs.
Century (100+)+16 milestoneReplaces the half-century milestone; both are not added together.
Duck−2Applied when the recorded batter statistic marks the player as out for zero.

2. Strike-rate bonus

Calculated as batter runs ÷ balls faced × 100, when at least one ball is faced.

Strike rateBonus points
100 or lower+10
Above 100 up to 150+20
Above 150 up to 200+30
Above 200+50

The current engine applies this tier to any batter with at least one ball faced; it does not enforce a minimum-ball threshold.

3. Batting milestone bonus

This is an additional milestone layer currently applied by the scoring engine, separate from the batting milestone above.

Final runsAdditional bonus
30–49+5
50–99+10
100 or more+20

Only the highest tier in this section applies. Because this section is separate from the +8/+16 batting milestone, both applicable bonuses are currently counted.

4. Bowling points

Points credited from wickets, maiden overs and economy rate.

ActionPointsHow it works
Wicket credited to bowler+25 eachRun outs and retired hurt are not credited as bowler wickets.
Bowled dismissal+8 extraAdditional bonus to the bowler for each dismissal recorded specifically as Bowled.
Maiden over+12 eachBased on the maiden-over count in the recorded player stats.
3-wicket haul+10 extraOne haul bonus when the bowler takes 3 or 4 wickets.
5-wicket haul+20 extraThe +20 tier replaces the +10 haul tier; they are not added together.
Wides conceded−1 per wideDeducted from the bowler's points.
No-balls conceded−1 per no-ballDeducted from the bowler's points.

5. Economy-rate bonus

Economy = runs conceded ÷ overs bowled. The current engine applies a tier after any positive number of legal balls.

Economy rateBonus points
8.5 or higher+10
7.0 to below 8.5+20
6.0 to below 7.0+30
Below 6.0+50

The current engine does not require a minimum number of overs before this bonus is applied.

6. Fielding points

ActionPoints
Catch+8
Stumping+12
Run-out credited to fielder+6

7. Captain and vice-captain

Captain (C)
2× points

The captain receives double their calculated player points.

Vice-captain (VC)
1.5× points

The vice-captain receives one-and-a-half times their calculated player points.

8. How fantasy team points are calculated

  1. Points are calculated for each player from their recorded batting, bowling and fielding stats.
  2. Any applicable bonuses and deductions are included, including the +8 Bowled dismissal bonus for the bowler.
  3. The captain's points are multiplied by 2 and the vice-captain's by 1.5.
  4. The adjusted points of all players in the fantasy team are added to get the team total.
  5. Contest entries are ranked by total points, highest first. If points tie, the earlier entry is placed first in the current ranking logic.

Points are recalculated when recorded match deliveries/statistics are recalculated. Rules are read-only here and cannot be edited from this page.
